WHY TANDAV IS SO CONTROVERSIAL


 On 15 January 2021 Amazon Prime Video has relesed a new web series TANDAV. This web series based on the Indian politics(political drama). In the 1st 17 min there was a Drama scene between lord narayan and lord shiva, they are talking about new society cultures and this scene stand out a fully controversial topic

MAIN CONTROVERSY : 

In the 17th min drama scene, there was a conversation between lord shiva and narayan. Actor Zeeshan Ayyub plays Lord shiva in astage play ans says " Azaadi, What the....?".In the same scene ,the narayan in stage tells Lord Shiva needs to do something to improve his popularity on social mediaas lord Ram's popularity is increasing. Lord Shiva asks can he should come with a new DP.



just not only these scene, the plot of the th episode series was jumped from the headlines,its opens with a farmer's protest and a significant amount of screen time is intent to a firebrand student leader of VNU.The audience generally knows that there are stand ins for the JNU and Kanhaiya Kumar.  


THE FIR/ COMPLAINST :

India's leading Political party BJP's MP Monaj Kotak wrote to information and Broadcasting minister Prakash Javadekar to apply a ban on the series for allegedly ridiculing Hindu deities and hart the sentiments of hindu bhagvan. After this statement #boycotTandav was the trending tweet on twitter.Full UP state ,most probably hindu religion's people get's up dangerouse look at this web series. Some of people has placed his fake order on amazon shopping.
